Cherry and Blueberry Pie Double Fruit Dessert

Easy double fruit pie made with cherry and blueberry filling layered over a creamy sour cream base in a flaky crust.

Ingredients
  

  • * 1 refrigerated pie crust
  • * 1 can cherry pie filling
  • * 1 can blueberry pie filling
  • * 1 egg yolk
  • * 1/2 cup sour cream
  • * 2 tablespoons milk
  • * 2 tablespoons sugar

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and place pie crust into a pie dish.
  2. Pre-bake crust for 8–10 minutes until slightly set.
  3. In a bowl, mix sour cream, milk, sugar, and egg yolk until smooth.
  4. Spread sour cream mixture over bottom of crust.
  5. Spoon cherry and blueberry fillings over top, gently swirling together.
  6. Bake for 40–45 minutes until filling is bubbling and crust is golden.
  7. Cool completely before slicing.

Notes

Let pie cool fully before cutting to allow filling to set. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Do not overmix fruit fillings or the flavor contrast will be lost.
