Ingredients

  • 2 cans crescent roll dough
  • 2 8 oz packages cream cheese (softened)

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar for topping
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter

Method

  2. Mix cinnamon and 1/2 cup sugar together in a small bowl.
  3. Sprinkle a little cinnamon sugar into the baking dish and press one sheet of crescent dough into the bottom.
  4. Beat cream cheese, egg, vanilla, and remaining 1/2 cup sugar until smooth. Spread over dough.
  5. Add the second dough sheet on top and brush with melted butter. Sprinkle remaining cinnamon sugar evenly over the top.
  6. Bake for 28–30 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Cool completely, then refrigerate before slicing into bars.

Notes

Softened cream cheese prevents lumps in the filling. Chill the bars before slicing for cleaner cuts. Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
