- In a 9x13-inch dish, layer vanilla wafers across the bottom, followed by sliced bananas and strawberries.
- Spread a layer of pudding mixture over the fruit and repeat the layers until all ingredients are used.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.

Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For best texture, make it the night before serving so the wafers soften properly. Slice bananas right before assembling to keep them fresh-looking. You can use homemade whipped cream, but whipped topping stays stable longer for parties and potlucks.
