Servings: 10 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 boxes vanilla wafers
  • 6 to 8 bananas sliced
  • 1 container fresh strawberries sliced
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 5 oz box French vanilla instant pudding mix
  • 1 8 oz package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 12 oz tub whipped topping, thawed

Method

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add the sweetened condensed milk and mix until fully combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the cold milk and pudding mix for 2 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Fold the pudding mixture into the cream cheese mixture, then gently fold in the whipped topping until smooth.
  5. In a 9x13-inch dish, layer vanilla wafers across the bottom, followed by sliced bananas and strawberries.
  6. Spread a layer of pudding mixture over the fruit and repeat the layers until all ingredients are used.
  7. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.

Notes

Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For best texture, make it the night before serving so the wafers soften properly. Slice bananas right before assembling to keep them fresh-looking. You can use homemade whipped cream, but whipped topping stays stable longer for parties and potlucks.
