Patriotic Berry Trifle Recipe No Bake Dessert

Easy layered berry trifle made with cake, cream, strawberries, and blueberries for a festive no-bake patriotic dessert.

Ingredients
  

  • * 1 angel food cake or pound cake cubed
  • * 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • * 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • * 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • * 8 oz whipped topping
  • * 2 cups fresh strawberries sliced
  • * 1 1/2 cups fresh blueberries

Method
 

  1. Cut cake into bite-sized cubes.
  2. Beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Fold in whipped topping until light and fluffy.
  4. In a large glass bowl, layer cake, cream mixture, strawberries, and blueberries.
  5. Repeat layers until bowl is full.
  6. Finish with berries on top.
  7. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

Best served within 24–48 hours. Do not assemble too far in advance or cake will become overly soft. Use a clear bowl for best presentation.
