Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy.
- Add egg and vanilla, mixing just until combined.
- In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until dough forms.
- Fold in M&Ms and sprinkles gently.
- Scoop dough into balls and place on baking sheet.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are set and centers look slightly underbaked.
- Cool on baking sheet for 10 minutes before transferring.
Notes
Do not overbake or cookies will dry out. Chill dough if cookies spread too much. Best served slightly warm or next day after flavors settle.
