Red White & Blue Snack Mix for 4th of July Parties

Easy no-bake patriotic snack mix with popcorn, pretzels, candy, and dried fruit for the perfect 4th of July party treat.

Ingredients
  

Base
  • 6 cups plain or kettle popcorn cooled
  • 2 cups mini pretzels
  • 1 cup Rice Chex cereal
Red Ingredients
  • 1 cup freeze-dried strawberries
  • 1 cup red M&Ms or red chocolate candies
  • ½ cup dried cranberries
  • ½ cup strawberry yogurt-covered raisins
White Ingredients
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup yogurt-covered pretzels
Blue Ingredients
  • 1 cup freeze-dried blueberries
  • 1 cup blue M&Ms
  • ¼ cup blue sprinkles
  • ½ cup candy-coated almonds blue
Optional
  • White candy melts for light drizzle

Method
 

  1. Make sure popcorn is fully cooled before starting.
  2. In a large bowl, add popcorn as the base layer.
  3. Add pretzels and cereal, mixing gently.
  4. Add marshmallows, M&Ms, dried fruit, and yogurt-covered items.
  5. Add blue ingredients last to balance color distribution.
  6. Gently toss everything until evenly mixed.
  7. Optional: drizzle melted white chocolate over the mix.
  8. Let set for 10 minutes if drizzled before serving.
  9. Serve immediately or store in airtight container.

Notes

Always cool popcorn fully to avoid melting candy.
Do not overmix or crush popcorn.
Add salty items if mix tastes too sweet.
Best texture is same day, but lasts up to 5 days.
Avoid humidity to keep crunch.
