- Preheat oven to 400°F and line baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream cold butter with both sugars until just combined (do not fully whip).
- Add eggs and vanilla, mixing briefly until incorporated.
- In a separate bowl, combine flours, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gently fold dry ingredients into wet mixture until thick dough forms.
- Fold in chocolate chunks, chips, and walnuts.
- Chill dough for at least 30–60 minutes.
- Scoop large dough balls and place on baking sheet without flattening.
- Bake 12–14 minutes until edges are golden but centers remain soft.
- Let cool on tray for 10–15 minutes before serving.
Notes
Do not skip chilling or cookies will spread too much. Cookies should look slightly underbaked in the center when removed from oven. Best served warm for gooey texture.
